Amavi – Washington State

2009 Semillon – Honey, peach, citrus, spice, crisp mineral. This is a nice wine but for 22 is a bit pricey for a winery in Washington. (B+)

2007 Cabernet – Cherries, flowers vanilla, cocoa, and dark fruit. This is a wine with silky texture but lacks body for bottle selling for 28. (B-)

2007 Syrah Walla Walla – Smoked soil, dirt with raspberries and blueberries. Soft and lush plenty of dark fruit and a touch of spice in the mouth. A nice Syrah. (B+)

2007 Syrah Les Collines – Dusty and mineral nose, I just stepped to southern rhone. Bacon fat, black berry and long earthy finish. Very nice wine with French influences. (A-)
